If you've been a member of this site for any length of time, you'll know that in our early years we used to feature lots of Russian boys.

In those days many of them were short of ready cash and prepared to try some erotic modeling to make ends meet.  Some others were even hoping to find a patron of some sort who'd help them get to the West.  And, of course, while Russia's never been the most liberal of social environments, in the past there wasn't the extreme homophobia infects the country today and keeps most gay boys in the closet.

These days, then, we sadly don't hear from that many Russian boys, so an e-mail from Slavko was very welcome - especially when we saw the pictures he'd attached.

He's 19 years old, a student and gay but, for obvious reasons, he isn't too keen on us telling you where exactly he lives.

What he does say, though, is that he loves travel and, before long, hopes to be able to see some of the world outside his own country.

So, if you happen to recognise his memorable features - if only the facial ones - in a gay bar in your own home town in the next year or so, do take the opportunity to introduce yourself.

Slavko assures us that he'll happily take up any opportunity to improve his English - as well as to perfect a few other, more specialised skills.
