Nikola

The story of how Nikola became an HMBoy is an especially well documented one – thanks to Czech boys’ fascination with technology and, in particular, their love of their cell phones (still a prized status symbol over there) and texting.

 

I met Nikola in one of Prague’s best-known boy bars.

 

As you can guess from a quick glance at his pictures, he was a boy in great demand that night.

 

Tall, well put together, but with a cute and boyish face – to many, including me, he was an irresistible package.

 

And, after some time, I managed to get him alone for a moment in a quiet corner.

 

He thought I wanted sex.

 

So I explained what I actually wanted for the HMBoys website.

 

And he ran away as fast as those long legs could carry him…

 

That, I thought, was that.

 

But maybe he talked to some of the other boys in the bar who I’d already filmed because, after a while, it seems that Nikola realised that possibly he’d misunderstood my proposition.

 

And so, as I was walking back to my apartment, he sent a text message (I’ve still got them all on my phone, so they’re exactly word-for-word and spelling-for-spelling just as they came in)…

 

So, while it seemed that he wasn’t prepared to do “porno” (by which I guess he meant having sex with another boy on camera), he would be prepared to do “picture” (i.e. solo work). That, I texted back, was fine by us. Then came this…

 

Ah yes, a typical ploy - ask for too much money. I texted back that it was too much.

 

[He quotes the same sum of money] i make before for this price. We can meet tommorow afternoon 3oclock the place depends on you is it ok?

Ah, so we’re “Nick” and not “Nikola” – we must be friends now! Still no agreement on price, though – but we’ll see what happens tomorrow.

 

ZZZZZ…..

 

I gave him the address, but stressed that there was no deal unless we agreed on the money – and I was feeling in a stronger position today. After all, what other work was available to my new friend Nick in the daytime? By the way, I asked, how old are you? And you will be able to prove that, won’t you?

 

Note that he doesn’t sign off this time. Now he’s had to back down on the money, maybe we’re not friends any more?

 

And so he did.

 

He was even on time, which was a first in Prague…
