As little cutie Kevin is a real-life trainee chef, we thought it made sense to set his HMBoys photoshoot in the kitchen.

And, as you can see, he certainly dressed the part for us.

Well, he wore an apron for the camera at least - though apparently he thought at first that he could keep his underpants on too.

But we explained, it goes without saying, that underpants - especially teenage boys' underpants - are just crawling with germs, so it would be best to get rid of them before he carried on working in our squeaky clean kitchen.

And, like a good boy, Kevin did exactly as he was told.

You'll see that he wanted to prepare some sort of vegetarian dish for us. 

Much to our surprise, peppers, tomatoes and onions seemed to be the main ingredients (we'd have bet a fair sum on Kevin's preference inclining towards cucumbers, zucchinis and carrots!)

But we had to step in at that point.  At HMBoys we're strictly in it for the meat, we explained so that brought young Kevin to a complete and very perplexed standstill.

Still, it wasn't too long, as you'll notice, before he found some other way entirely to occupy those hands of his.

And, having observed him in action, we think that Kevin will be a natural at making bread.  All that kneeding and pressing out of the dough will suit him right down to the ground.

And there's one more advantage of sticking to breadmaking if you're going to be working naked in the kitchen...

There's no hot fat splashing around the place.
