I suppose that - like so many other things in life - it all to religion.

That's where we make the two equations light = goodness and dark = evil.

And that's why angels are very often shown in art as fair-haired.

But if, over the years, we've learned anything at HMBoys.com, it's that those "alabaster blonds", usually from Russia, that so many of you like can be the dirtiest and most wicked boys going.

Not, of course, that this week's HMBoy, Jess, is actually wicked - but just don't assume that his blond good looks are any indication of innocence.  [And, after all, close examination of the evidence - roots'n'pubes - seems to show he's a bottle-blond, in any case.]

No, the real giveaway in Jess's pictures isn't the blond hair.  It's the other feature to which he seems - literally - so firmly attached, the leather couch (though, taking a good look at it, I think I'm using the word leather just about as loosely as I am the word blond.)

Jess, you see, even at his young age has already decided that he's a real leather queen.

"My boyfriend "Daddy" is quite a bit older than me", he tells us.

"He owns a big house and he's converted the basement into a complete dungeon with all the stuff you'd expect - cages, racks, stocks and plenty of other ways to punish me whenever I've been a bad boy.

"And I just love being bad!"

Jess told us that he'd happily have let us shoot our pictures in his dungeon except that it's all been painted out in black so that it's way too dark down there.

"And that", he says, "is another reason for the blond hair.   

"Sometimes, when I've been really naughty, I try and hide out in the dark so Daddy won't be able to find and punish me.

"But, with this blond hair, he always does!"
