Antonio / Alfonso / Ronaldo

If you're fond of black boys - and, even better, black boys in gorgeous tropical settings - then you've been having a bit of a treat here this year.

First of all I introduced you to Alfonso (10 March) who turned out not to be the employee I'd imagined but a guest - staying in the Presidential Suite, no less - at my deluxe Caribbean gay resort.

Then we met Alfonso's young friend Antonio (21 July). He was the 18 years old waiter-cum-general-factotum at his cousin's guesthouse who was more than willing to accommodate all a guests' special requirements while enjoying himself hugely at the same time.

And the third of the Caribbean cuties I've introduced you to in the past few months was young Ronaldo (1 September), a part-time hustler from the beach who helped make my vacation so memorable - though whether it was because his girlfriend wasn't putting it his way that week or he just wanted someone to buy him a few afternoon beers was never very clear.

It's at this point, guys, that I'd better warn you that anyone prone to queenly envy had better stop reading right now.

Because, on the last vacation I took, I decided to repay the boys for all the kindness they've shown me in the past year, by taking them on a beach picnic.

We hired a boat - and a cute boy-boatman (but that's a different story!) - for the afternoon and headed off for a remote and, luckily as it turned out, deserted stretch of sand.

The three boys - left to right they're Alfonso, Ronaldo and Antonio - were all in a great mood, but then who couldn't be on an afternoon like that in a Caribbean paradise.

We had some great food. Antonio's cousin Patrice had cooked us some spicy fried chicken, which we ate cold along with green bananas and yam in coconut milk, washed down with his special and very potent Demerara rum punch.

Then, after a long swim, we all lay back on the beach.

Of course, given our past history and the fact that Alfonso and Antonio were gay - and that Ronaldo was certainly gay for pay - it wasn't long before matters started to develop quite promisingly.

Actually, to tell you the truth, it wasn't as spontaneous as it looks. In order to give Alfonso and Antonio a pleasant surprise, I'd promised Ronaldo that, if he'd help me out, I'd take him on a shopping spree in town - and, I can tell you, I'm expecting a very sizeable credit card bill any day now!

I guess it's part and parcel of his job, but Ronaldo is certainly a good actor.

When he began coming on to the other two boys, even I was convinced he meant it.

But then again, if his girlfriend still wasn't putting it his way, maybe he did.

At first I don't think Alfonso and Antonio could believe their luck.

A gorgeous setting, great food and drink, complete relaxation - and now, to top it all, a bit of unexpected fun with another cute boy.

What more can a couple of young gay kids ask for?

They joined in with abandon.

And, being the kind, considerate boys they are, when Ronaldo told them that, even after the chicken and green bananas, he was still hungry, they both offered him a filling bite to eat.

And Ronaldo sure was hungry. He could stuff more into his mouth at one time than any other boy I've seen!

You'd think that, at the end of that, Ronaldo would have had enough, wouldn't you?

But whether it was because he was looking forward to the shopping expedition or whether, as I like to think, he was genuinely enjoying himself, he made it plain to the other two that he still wasn't full - so could they oblige?

Of course they could… and would… and did!

In fact, on the day of that very memorable beach picnic, they filled up poor, hungry Ronaldo more than he could ever have anticipated.

And I still haven't told you about that cute boy-boatman…
