That's what you guys are.

A real inquisitive bunch.

No sooner had we posted last week's intro to Joshua's pictures than the e-mails flooded in.

"What's that you said about a 'jock's bedroom set' for your photographs?"

"Hey guys, HMBoys is such a big part of my weekly routine - I want to see all of it."

"Any guided tours available?"

And so on.

Yes, it turns out that lots of you are real HMBoys aficionados and want to know everything there is to know - not only about the boys but about us too.

It just confirms an impression we got when our member Michael e-mailed us a couple of months ago.

He describes himself as a "serious HMBoys scholar, one of those who get beyond the cum on pubic hairs!" and he pointed out that in one of our boys' photosets there was a very clear reference to the town where the photos were taken.

Weren't we, he wondered, worried about trainloads of HMBoys.com members - all veteran dick detectives to the man! - arriving there in search of their dream boy, much to his, his boyfriend's and his family's horror?

And then Michael added: "Rest assured. I am not a "spy" nor a "crazy". I just enjoy checking ALL the photographs, looking for similarities and "hidden" things like Conner's 'Arrowhead' water bottle - a free ad!"

That struck a chord with me too, I guess. For years, whenever I look at hot guys photographed inside houses, I like to look at the stuff in the background. Particularly books. It's amazing how many queens read the same things (the collected works of Martha Stewart) - and how many of them too read the weirdest things too: my favourite was a well-thumbed copy of Crop Rotation in Latvia.

So for this week's introduction to the next week's set (hope you're still with me on this one!) we're going to give you what you want.

Everything you "serious HMBoys scholars" like Michael always wanted to know…

Here, for example, is a great shot of our wallpaper.

Now, other studios may choose a bland design. That's so as not to create a distraction from the boyflesh on show. But at HMBoys.com we're so confident of our models' ability to hold your attention that we know we can put up the most annoying wallpaper in the world (chosen specially by the boss because it was cheap!) and most of you won't even notice.

And, mentioning the boss's care with the pennies, note the "bed" we use on the set too.

It's actually no such thing - just a few scrap pieces of wood nailed together and then covered up so you won't see it's fake.

I could tell you a story or two about the boys who've got a little too energetic with each other on that bed, only to find it collapsing under them in mid-fuck.

So it's a good job that only a slightly-built boy's sitting on it here!

Now I've already referred to the wallpaper, but I wouldn't want you to get the idea that we spared an effort on the set's accessorisation (great word - thanks Martha!)

Notice here the sophisticated artwork - a true modern, minimalist masterpiece, according to the salesman - that we've put up on the wall to keep the boys' brains stimulated.

I'm particularly fond of the red faux satin bed cover.

Pretty classy, n'est-ce-pas?

But the boss and I have never agreed on the blue sheets.

He wanted to keep the red-and-gold theme throughout (maybe with the odd naked black model or two, just to provide an accent color.)

But I think the blue sheets provide an important color-palette reference and a daring - and psychologically vital - hint of eccentricity in an otherwise homogenous environment. Utterly representative of our 21st century Weltanschauung…
