Audrius

He's a funny boy.

I don't mean funny-haha…

I mean funny as in weird.

Although I guess you could say that Audrius is so weird that he even makes me laugh too.

He's the current boyfriend of my own ex-boyfriend friend Marek and, when the two of them needed cash a few months ago, they asked me to take some pictures of Audrius and see if I could sell them.

But I said that I'd only do it if Audrius came to my place.

That's 'cos he's not only weird but a little unreliable too - and I certainly didn't want to hump my camera bag and lights right across town only to find that he's gone out for the evening for a few beers.

But, sure enough, Audrius turned up on my doorstep only 25 minutes late - which was pretty unusual for him because, unlike most of us, he's almost always an hour or two too early for any appointment.

Like I said, weird…

Now, one of the reasons that Marek and Audrius picked on me for the job was that they knew I'd done it for a few friends in need of cash before.

And all those other friends had behaved the same way at the shoot.

Nervous - at any rate to start with.

Not Audrius, though.

The first thing he did when he arrived wasn't to look sheepish and embarrassed - but to go straight to the kitchen and cook himself some food!

That's weird.

All the other models I've had were so nervous about the whole experience that they'd have thrown up as soon as they'd looked at even an unopened can of baked beans.

But not Audrius.

He just carried on preparing himself a snack.

And then, having eaten it, he produced his little next surprise.

What the fuck was that?

He explained he'd had a little accident - without elaborating what it was - and in spite of all my arguments that his fingers were going to be playing quite a big role in this set of pictures and so he really ought to take off the bandage, he refused.

I almost gave up the whole project at that point but, as you can already see, Audrius is cute (if weird) and I'd be helping Marek too if I took the shots - so I decided to go ahead.

He got down to the underwear OK - and even looked as though he was quite enjoying himself (apart from that darned finger!)…

But then came another surprise…

Audrius announced that, for his nude shots, he wanted to wear dark glasses.

I don't think that even he was stupid enough to think that a mere pair of shades would be enough to hide his identity from curious web browsers.

I think he just had it in his head that he was becoming some sort of internet "star" and that stars often wore dark glasses to… er… emphasise their stardom!

No matter what I said about their being a somewhat limited and specialised market for pictures of naked boys who appeared to be blind and to have mutilated hands, Audrius was adamant.

And although I managed, as you'll see, to snatch one or two shots when he took the shades off for just a second or two, he kept them on for most of the evening.

And so I ended up with quite an unusual - not to say weird - set of pics, to say the least.

Thankfully, though, enough of them were sufficiently hot to find a market…

At the end of the session, I made a vow never to work with such a temperamental model again.

But, as far as Audrius was concerned, he looked like he'd had a great time!
