Juan

Things are going pretty well down south.

And that's why it's been quite some time since we heard from our friend who set up and runs the exclusive guesthouse just outside Bogotá, Colombia.

That's the guy, you'll recall, who offers his customers - all tired tycoons, stressed out business executives and a surprising number of closeted movie stars - a full programme of pampered relaxation in his ultra-luxurious farmhouse in a beautiful, rural and necessarily isolated setting.

And, to be frank, the isolation from the outside world is probably more important, in practice, than the attractive location, because the pampering programme has one or two somewhat unusual features.

Most notably, you'll recall, the place is staffed entirely by specially selected young Latino boys.

OK, maybe they can't tell a Long Island Iced Tea from a hot cup of Earl Grey…

And I don't suppose they can whip up a cordon bleu dinner at a moment's notice, either…

But what they can do, they do exceptionally well.

In fact, they're so good at their work that every month at least one is whisked off by a grateful guest to a new life in the US or Europe.

There are more than enough potential replacements ready to fill the gaps, though, all of them more than eager to make new - and rich - friends from among the exclusive clientele.

Juan is one of those boys.

When these photographs were taken at his interview for his personnel file, he was still very new to the job (it was just his second day there, I think).

Understandably, he looks kind of shy and nervous to start with…

But then he starts to loosen up a little.

Quite literally.

He loosens his shirt…

Then he loosens his pants…

And soon it becomes clear that the boy will need to be loosening his underwear any minute now.

Of course, one or two things are better tight and firm than loose.

And young Juan shows that he completely understands that concept.

Things don't come much firmer than this…

But Juan's certainly not stupid.

He knows that he needs to be able to loosen up whenever necessary in that direction too, if he's going to keep his customers happy…

You'll be pleased - but probably not too surprised - to hear that, since Juan's joined the staff, he's become one of the more popular of the resort's employees.

And, while he's still waiting for one particular top Hollywood name to send him the promised flight ticket to the States, he carries on happily with his work.

"I love it here", he swears, hand on heart.

"I really do."
