So where were Elvis's pictures taken?

Looks to me as though it might be the well-known Heartbreak hotel…

Or maybe a jailhouse [rock]…

Or possibly a [Crying in the] chapel…

Or even In the ghetto…

But at least the poor kid isn't outside in the Kentucky rain (especially as he seems in these pics to have mislaid his Blue suede shoes).

All the same, the poor boy's got a bit of an odd look about him in this next pic - as though, in spite of that rather forced smile, something might be the matter.

Maybe he's All shook up…

Or Paralysed…

Or just Indescribably blue…

Or possibly he's in some sort of T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

So how can we describe Elvis to you this week?

Well, in some people's eyes he's a typical U.S. male…

And, while one or two might be more inclined to see him as a Devil in disguise…

I'm sure that most of you would look on him as just A big hunk o'love.

And, in that case, you'd probably give a lot to be able to have him as My boy…

And have him in your Loving arms.

So what has Elvis himself got to say about all this?

"All I want", he tells us, "is for someone to Love me tender."

And then, much to my surprise, he adds -

"Are you lonesome tonight?"
