Life as a student is a time - as many of you will recall - when money is all too short.

But the plus side is that you've usually got a bit of free time in which, if you're enterprising about it, you can supplement your income a little.

Some wait tables.

But others model for sites like ours.

Andrei's one of the latter. But while we're used to history students, mathematics students and even (we especially like these!) phys. ed. students, Andrei's our first HMBoy who's studying design.

And he wanted to tell us a little bit about it while he showed off his own "design" to all of you.

"I asked to be photographed in one of my favourite places", he says.

"It's an apartment that belongs to a friend of my parents and I rent a room here from him.

"I just love the way it looks."

(Well, Andrei, we just love the way that you look, so while you concentrate on the apartment, we'll just concentrate on you.)

"These windows are fabulous, don't you think?"

(Yes, Andrei, they're quite fabulous…)

"And this style of lighting is just right too."

(Yes, Andrei - but all those lights are making it just a little hot in here. Maybe we ought to loosen our clothes just a little?)

"Notice the superb, flowing lines and attention to detail…"

(Oh, certainly, Andrei - we couldn't agree more with you about the lines…)

"It's a really practical living space, too. Look how well it can accommodate a home office."

(Oh, yes, we can quite see ourselves sitting at that desk right now, Andrei…)

"In that case, let me offer you this chair. It's surprisingly comfortable…"

(Oh, we can already see that very clearly for ourselves.)

"For myself, I'm quite happy to relax on the wonderful hardwood floor..."

(Not the only thing that's hard around here right now.)

"…although sometimes you do really need a proper chair if you're going to get comfortable."

(We do understand. Boys will, after all, be boys.)

"And, at times like these, it's good to incorporate a stain-proof fabric into the design."

(Point taken, Andrei - point taken!)
